From the Desk of Father Jason - September 13, 2026

Dear Saint Francis Xavier Parishioners,

We are blessed to have a group for men and a group for women that are connected to St. Francis Xavier Parish.

Our women’s group is the Ladies Ministry. It is a ministry of both St. Francis Xavier Parish and St. Mary Parish in Ledgeview. The Ladies Ministry was formed for the advancement of the spiritual, intellectual, charitable, and social interests of the parishes. Meetings are monthly, September through May, on the first Friday of the month. They alternate between St. Francis and St. Mary. I invite all the women of the parish to consider joining the Ladies Ministry.

Our men’s group is the Knights of Columbus. The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men’s fraternal organization throughout the United States and the world. Our council is the Abbot Pennings Council #3955. Our council covers all the parishes of De Pere and Ledgeview. They meet on the first Monday of the month at 7:00 pm at Replay Sports Bar and Grill. This weekend they are having a membership drive at our parish. I invite all the men of the parish to consider joining the Knight of Columbus. I have been a knight since 2001.

I want to give you a final invitation. I invite you to be part of the Life in the Spirit Seminar that will be starting on this Thursday evening, September 17, 6:30-8:30 pm here at St. Francis Xavier Parish. The Life in the Spirit Seminar is an introduction to a life lived in the power of the Holy Spirit. It is eight weekly sessions with teaching, guidance, sharing, and prayer. The goal is a deeper relationship with the Lord God through Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. The second session will be on October 1 because of the Packer game.
