Come and Visit
Jesus Christ is deeply in love with you!
Welcome to Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Parish!
Saint Francis Xavier is the Catholic parish for the eastside of De Pere. We are a community of faith in God through Jesus Christ.
Our threefold mission is to worship God through Jesus Christ, form disciples, and spread the Gospel in De Pere.
All are welcome to come and belong. In belonging to this community, it is our hope that you come to believe in the love God has for you in Jesus Christ.
You are invited to join us for one of our weekend Masses. It is in worship that you will find St. Francis Xavier Parish at its best.
Give us a chance.
We are convinced that Jesus loves you and is already at work in your life. Live Jesus!
When to Come and Worship?
Saturday 4p
Sunday 9a & 11a
Who is welcome?
Catholics. Christians. Non-Christians. Everyone of good will.
What to expect?
We worship the Lord God through Jesus Christ in the Holy Mass. What is the Holy Mass? Catholics believe that the same sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross is re-presented on the altar. This is done through the ritual of the Roman Catholic Church.
There will be sitting, standing, and kneeling. If you are not sure what to do, sit toward the back of the church and follow along with the people.
There will be songs, the Word of God read from the Bible, preaching, prayers, and Holy Communion. Holy Communion is open to those Catholics who have received their first Holy Communion. While Holy Communion cannot be offered to everyone, all are part of the worshiping community whether they can receive at this time or not.
