The Parish Picnic is May 30-31!

St. Francis Xavier is having a party. Everyone is welcome to come. Picnic highlights are as follows:

Saturday May 30

Come to the 4 pm Mass and stay after for:

• Pasta Dinner

• Bake Sale

• Bucket Raffles preview

Sunday May 31

Come to the 11 am Mass and stay after for:

• Food Tent

• Booyah

• Large Cash Raffle - $2,000 grand prize

• Bucket Raffles

• Bake Sale

• Children’s Games

• Free Bingo

Additional Event Information

Large Cash Raffle

Parish families are reminded to pick up your family envelope with raffle tickets in the gathering space of Church. Each family is requested to sell of buy the enclosed tickets for a chance to win up to $2,000! Ticket winners will be drawn at 3:00 pm on the day of the picnic. You do not need to be present to win. Drop off your tickets in the marked box in the gathering space or at the parish office.

Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to help set up/clean up and serve at the Pasta Dinner, prepare and sell Booyah, and more! Students and families can earn volunteer hours. Look for sign-up sheets posted in Church is use this link.

Items to be Collected

Collection boxes are in the Gathering Space to help us collect the following items for the picnic:

• Booyah: Five quart pails are needed for carryout.

• Food Tent: 18oz/20oz ketchup/mustard bottles, napkins, and paper towels.

• Theme Baskets: Prepared baskets ($50 value) for our Bucket Raffle. Please take one or more tags from our suggestion tree and make up a basket. Do you have baskets you no longer need? We could use them for the Bucket Raffle. They can be dropped off by the Bucket Raffle Tree. Please return your raffle baskets by Tuesday, May 26th to the Parish Office.

• Children’s Games: Please drop off gently used/new toys in the marked box in the Gathering area for prizes.

Bake Sales

You can bake cookies, cupcakes, bars, breads, pies, etc., plated to serve (please use a disposable container). Bake sale items can be dropped off Saturday, May 30th any time after 2 pm.
