From the Desk of Father Jason - June 28, 2026

Dear Saint Francis Xavier Parishioners,

July 1, 2026, begins the new fiscal year for Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

We are making a couple of additions to our normal Sacramental schedule.

The first is that the parish will be adding an extra hour for Reconciliation/Confession. Beginning on July 7, the Sacrament of Confession will be offered at 5 pm every Tuesday evening. This is hopefully a convenient time for those who are working and cannot get to the Sacrament on Saturday.

The second addition to our Sacramental schedule is that we will have a weekday Mass on Saturday mornings at 7:30 am. This Saturday morning Mass does not replace the Saturday evening or Sunday Masses that a Catholic is required to go to each week. The first Saturday morning Mass will be on July 4 and will be offered for our nation on its 250th anniversary. We are looking for a server, a reader, and a person to lead the Rosary on Saturday mornings.

The Sacramental life of the Church should be offered as generously as possible.

So, our weekly Sacramental schedule is as follows:

Tuesday – 7:30 am Weekday Mass, 5:00-6:00 pm Reconciliation/Confessions

Wednesday – 8:30 am Weekday Mass

Thursday – 7:30 am Weekday Mass

Friday – 7:30 am Weekday Mass

Saturday – 7:30 am Weekday Mass (Does not count for Mass Obligation), 8:00-9:00 am Reconciliation Confessions, 3:00-3:45 pm Reconciliation/Confessions, 4:00 pm Weekend Mass

Sunday – 9:00 am Weekend Mass, 11:00 am Weekend Mass

Avail yourself to Sacraments of the Church as frequently as possible.
